Neue Mobilität Berlin (NMB) examines the possibilities and limitations of local mobility.

In Charlottenburg, on the Mierendorff-ISLAND and in the Klausenerplatz-Kiez specific questions are asked exemplary for Berlin:

  • How do I move through my quarters and through Berlin as a young, active or elderly person?
  • What are the problems or possibilities for improvement?
  • Which and how much traffic do we actually want in the neighbourhood?
  • What are the alternatives?
  • Who can provide specific support on site and how?

Last but not least:

  • How is mobility related to my personal and our quality of life?

The goal: living values of urbanity

The desire of the NMB project is to inspire all local residents to sustainable upgrade their own environment through innovative mobility concepts.

The project team:

  • District office of Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf

The NMB strives to help the inhabitants, the people working here as well as other local actors to facilitate life through more flexible mobility.
